# Andrew Johnston

Manager, Data Consulting

Andrew is a Data Consultant on the Analytics team at Validere. His primary role is to connect different business problems to algorithmic solutions. He deeply enjoys working with the talented team at Validere, and is regularly inspired by the creative problem solving that takes place here.

Andrew brings technical expertise in high-performance computing and machine learning from his graduate studies, where he leveraged robotics and data science to accelerate the discovery of energy materials.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys playing every sport he can, and bemoaning the trials and tribulations of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
